Nothing About You, Without You
Help shape services for children and young people
We want children, young people, parents and carers to help us to help us improve services by sharing their views, experiences and ideas
What is Co-Production?
Co-production means working together to make services better. We do this by listening to young people, parents and carers and valuing their ideas, experiences and feedback and using them to help shape services.
Meet Kemi
Hi, my name is Kemi. I’m the Lived Experience Lead at North Kent Mind and I run Meeting Minds.
My role is to listen to young people, parents and carers and help make services better.
If you sign up, I’ll be the person who contacts you to tell you more and answer any questions.

What is Meeting Minds?
Meeting Minds is a group for young people, parents and carers who want to share their views and help improve services.
It’s a chance to have your say, talk about what matters, and help shape support for others.
You can choose to find out more or register your interest in joining.
Who Can Join?
Meeting Minds is open to a wide range of people who have experience of poor mental health or emotional wellbeing, and who want to help shape local services.
We’re especially keen to hear from diverse voices, so that services reflect the experiences of all children, young people and families in our community.
We recognise that barriers such as travel costs can make it harder for some people to get involved. Meeting Minds Champions will receive compensation for their time, and travel expenses can be reimbursed up to £10 where needed.
