What You Can Expect
We understand that making a referral can feel overwhelming, and waiting for support can be stressful. At MTA, our goal is to make the process as clear, supportive, and transparent as possible. From the moment your referral is received, our team carefully reviews the information, listens to the child or young person’s voice, and identifies the support pathway best suited to their needs. You will be guided through each step along the way.
- Support is matched to need, not choice.
- We aim to start structured interventions within 8 weeks.
- Children and families are kept informed at every step.
- Staff are friendly, trauma-informed, and approachable.
- Guidance and advice are available if you’re unsure which support is appropriate.
- Feedback is welcomed, and adjustments can be made to support plans if needed.
